Luuranko on Myllyn Paras -makaroneista tehty ihmisen luuranko. Teos on ”life-size” ja anatomisesti tarkka – niinkuin makaroniranka nyt vain voi. Luut ovat onttoja ja pikkuruisten makaronien toistuva muoto yhdistyy kömpelön kuumaliiman kanssa inhimilliseksi massaksi, josta muodostuu lempeä luuranko. Luuranko sangen pop-tyylisenä aiheena saa lisää pontta naiiviuteensa makaronin arkipäiväisestä ja niin tutusta materiaalista, muodostaen humoristisen ja jopa nostalgisen kuvan ihmisestä.

The skeleton is a life-size human skeleton made out of macaroni. It is as anatomically accurate as it can be, being made out of pasta and hot glue. The tiny shape of the macaroni is repeated, as it forms the hollow bone structures and comes together with the – a little bit awkward – hot glue to form an endearing skeleton shape. A skeleton is quite a pop thing to do, and the super familiar and mundane pasta just adds to the naivety of the motif, creating a humoristic and even a bit nostalgic image of the human.
