Facetime on veistos- ja videoinstallaatio, jossa näyttelytilan seinästä puhkeaa esiin jättiläismäiset kasvot. Mietin teosta tehdessäni Zoom-palaverien ja muiden facetime-videopuheluiden suota, johon olemme tipahtaneet. Jotain keinotekoista niissä on, vaikka tavallaan se toinen on läsnä.

Facetime is a sculpture and video installation. An enormous face seems to be squeezed out from a wall in an exhibition space. I was thinking about all the Zoom meetings and other facetime-video-call-app-things that we have suddenly found ourselves surrounded by. There’s something artificial about it, though the other person is sort of present.
